Group portrait with women engaged in various activities

The rendering of the figures in this group portrait is reductive in that the women’s bodies are composed of basic shapes and black outlines. A majority of the women peer outwards towards the viewer even whilst engaged in a task. Although a bit abstracted, the female figures appear to be sitting upon a staircase structure, as there is a layering of figures in an upward progression. The color palette of this painting is basic exhibiting yellows, blacks, and reds.
