This work by Al-Jadar depicts the desolate nature of the desert, with the landscape of sand and rock. The vivid sand is warm beige and white, the sky jolts the viewer with an intensity of dark blue and grey. The brush strokes in this painting are tighter and more defined than other Al-Jadar works. The desert is depicted in all its beauty and all its emptiness in this work.
