This oil on canvas by Faraj Abbu brings together a conglomeration of colors and shapes that overlap and converge. The blue zigzag pattern overtakes the canvas as the most jarring repetitive shape used. The remainder of the composition is formed out of soft rectangular patches of blue, red, and green. Different shades of color pervade these patches creating a top layer of recurring forms.
