In this painting, Mahoud Ahmad has created a scene with frenzied activity that is contrasted with the immobility of a city structure. Two men on horseback, one with a saber drawn to strike, speed forward towards the viewer passing through an opening in what appears to be a city wall in a somewhat ruinous state. In the background just left of the riding men, a helicopter mimics the flurried forward motion of the riders.
