In this dream-like work by Mahoud Ahmad a soldier dressed in khaki fatigues lays lifeless in a cavity presumably under the earth. The landscape is made up of sparse trees growing outwards from the cavity with the root systems exposed to the viewer. A triangular ray a light encompasses the figure at the base and rises with its pinnacle reaching into a swirling cloud formation.
