In this emotional composition, a woman crouches with fists clenched and face contorted. She is surrounded by piles of rumble that indicate the past of a lively civilization. The object of her distress appears to be a disembodied hand that lays lifeless in front of her. The background of pure red mimics the main figures emotional state and gives this composition an otherworldly element.
