Composition with neutral background and black horizontal markings

The background of this composition is rendered in white and light blues with various faint strokes of yellow. Jutting horizontally into the picture plane from the left side, a series of thick black beams crisscross one another underscored with an opaque application of grey and blue. Overlaying these shapes is a spray of black script that draws the viewer’s eye to a series of lettering scratched into the surface of one of the horizontally oriented beams.
