Composition with stenciled symbols, architectural form, and calligraphy

In this composition an array of stenciled symbols make-up the upper section of an architectural form being held up by two pillars. The symbols range from the outlines of lips and hearts to keys and teapots; all accoutrements of daily life. The dappling of color overlaying these symbols is mimicked in the singular window with panes of reds, blues, and oranges. A band of elaborate calligraphic script separates this upper story from the lower containing a large arched door.
