Subject
Abstracted village scene with tents
Description
Again, the figures in this composition, by Ismail al Shaikhly, are abstractly rendered through the use of reductive garmenting. The oval humanoid forms are scattered throughout a deep green background. Some stand erect while others bend low gathered around a central activity. Behind them sits a series of black upright triangular forms resembling tent structures.
