Subject
Group of Upside-Down Figures
Description
In this dynamic composition a group of stylized figures are shown in an upside-down position. The faces and general body structures indicate humans. Yet, the varied body positions of the group lend to a more complex interpretative potential; perhaps a dance or ritual is taking place. Their environment seems to be that of a camp as tents are suggested in the background and a horse is seen to the left side.
