The intensity and heat of the sun bearing down on the beach is fully captured visually in this painting by Al-Jadar. The washed out blues and brilliant white of the sand create the feeling of heat in the eyes of the viewer. The boats that lay in the sun appear splintered and dry. The overall affect of the image is quite vivid.
