For this painting, Faraj Abbu has chosen nature as the primary subject matter. Two trees stand in the foreground covered with buds of pale pinks and creams, while palm trees dominate the background. The painterly rendering of the scene adds a romantic feel to the composition with the loose brushstrokes mimicking the movement of the trees swaying in the breeze; as well as the delicate nature of the buds and branches.
