Sleeping nude with man, lantern, and bird

In this composition, by Mahoud Ahmad, the forms are rendered in an ambiguous space where the sky and ground merge into one. The figures appear to be floating on a liquid surface of fluid blues. The fantasy-like scene is made up of a nude sleeping female whose lower half encompasses a man in flesh colored clothing. A lantern sits at the foreground, providing surreal light and shadow configurations, while in the background a dove alight dives for the watery plane.
