Textile squares in front of wall

This painting, by Nattik Aziz, is composed of repeating forms represented by the dual arches and the group of upright pikes. Also present are the overlapping textile squares decorated in great detail with a wide ranging color scheme. Within the smaller of the two arches a cityscape can be seen against the yellowing backdrop of the setting or rising sun; this is contrasted to the cool color palette contained within the larger arch formation.
