In this textured composition of bright red and blue tones, by Shakir Hassan Al Said, a rather stylized bird sits at the center of the foreground. The bird’s form is outlined in a thick black that is filled in by a pale pink while its wings are decorated with stripes of red with blue filling. Various other colored forms dot the compositional background; yet, these forms are more abstracted in their rendering.
