Title not known (Hassan Al Said 12)
Subject
Textured composition of aquamarine and red
Description
The striking palette of this abstracted composition is made up of the contrasting colors of aquamarine and bight red. The surface of this work is textured through both the addition and subtraction of materials. Patches of the upper tenth of the composition protrude slightly, delineated with corrugated edges and pitted interiors. Even more prominent, however, are the multitude of linear scratches that, at times, resemble script as well as the random scrapings of a tool.
