Subject
Abstract composition with squares and cracks
Description
The most prominent feature of this abstraction, by Shakir Hassan Al Said, is the large crack that flows from the bottom right of the picture plane and splits before reaching the opposite corner. The remainder of the composition is made up of a collection of faint squares of various blue tonalities. A few intermittent linear drawings stand out in black and red; while faded patches of yellow and peach triangles barely stand separate from the background plane.
