Composite figure in a background of raised patterns

The central focus of this piece is the composite figure made up of a woman’s head and a horse’s body with wings. The figure is adorned with a colorful band around its body and two bands around its legs with strips of primary colors. The background is composed of a stratification of colors, ranging from cool purple to vibrant orange, overlaid on a raised patterning of various shapes.
