Description
Standing out in this composition is the face of a woman with large eyes and red lips. The woman's visage takes up a large portion of the picture plane and is overlaid with a patterning of script the merges into pictorial forms. Thin dappled color bands exhibit the range of the color spectrum bracketing the composition with two bands of deep purple.
