Dark Composition with Central White Dapple

This abstracted composition by Abdelwahab resembles the natural formation of a rocky mountain. The random, jagged cuts rendered at the base of the picture plane recall that of crevasses traversing a barren peak. The remainder of the canvas is filled with a misty application of grays and blacks with a dappled white cloud taking a central position. The ambiguity of formal elements here allows for varied interpretations.
