Abstracted Composition with Two Figures in Red and Blue
Description
Again Alkodsky has used thick, repeated outlines to construct the composition. Here the lines form two distinct, yet abstracted, human faces seemingly square in shape. The pyramidal formation created by the stacking of the faces and the raised arms gives the composition a dynamic intensity underscored by the contrast of the black, blue, and red smears. The transparent figures reveal a background that is stark and vacant with only hazy stripes of black and white.
