Description
In this composition, Alhamdawi has compiled a series of pictographic forms into multiple vignettes of various sizes. Zoomorphic forms are coupled with anthropomorphic shapes and simplistic representations are mixed with the more complex. In each square the outline of an individual form seems to take on an independent meaning whilst still contributing to the overall narrative. The piece itself has an aged quality as the color palette of blue and green seems faded and the surface appears worn.
