Description
Again Alhamdawi has utilized the aesthetic of an aged artifact by fading the color palette and wearing the surface. Here the composition is divided into eight vignettes, four large and four small. A woman’s ornamented visage and a cow with calf are the most recognizable forms. The other two large squares appear more complicated with narrative potential.
